| Several
companies’ products are to be found in the glass markets. Specialty
fiber and electronic uses of glass are often coated and bonded to connectors
with UV or heat cure epoxies.
The
CTECH delay cure or fast heat cure would compete effectively
against products from Epoxy Technology Co. “OG” radiation cure line. CTECH
7274-1 is positioned to sell against Norland Co. and their NOA 68.
Structural
and novelty uses of glass bonding adhesives often use two part
epoxies from a variety of vendors. Any of the UV CTECH materials convey
a tremendous advantage in process speed to the customer.

In
replacing two part products care must be taken to test strength,
especially after aging or environmental exposure. Competition in the UV
field comes primarily from Loctite Corp and Dymax Corp with their UV anaerobics
and 400 series respectively.
These
companies only sell acrylate technology, which the CTECH 4271-1
has proven to have equivalent or better adhesion, speed and weathering
properties.
A
selling point here is that we do not have acrylic acid in our
lower odor formulations, which removes a potential health concern.
The
summary of CTECH advantages is that there is no other company
that offers all of this technology. From this one page of products we compete
effectively against all of the above. In addition, CTECH custom develops
for applications faster and more creatively than any one else! |
