Epoxy Coatings and Adhesives
Solventless, one-package products that are applied by spray, dip, or syringe
and then hardened (cured) by UV or visible light. These materials can also be made to cure with heat as well, or by a
"combination cure" that exposes assemblies to light and then heat to cure areas that were hidden from light. Another
unique technology is the "delay cure" process. Special CTECH structural epoxies can be applied to a substrate, exposed
for a short time or to low intensity light and a delay of seconds to minutes is enabled for assembly. Fixturing of the
assembly is then complete within seconds. Opaque material bonding and the use of low cost lamps open new applications with
CTECH delay cure products. CTECH is in the forefront of offerings for uses of specialty epoxies.
UV Acrylates
With lower odor and reduced health risks compared to similar products, CTECH
meets or surpasses performance standards. These products are in use bonding glass and plastics.
Unique Thiol-ene Chemistry
This is the third leg of CTECH'S chemistry
portfolio. CTECH has revitalized this technology that has been the mainstay of
UV cure decorative coatings for decals and labels as well as sealants. CTECH has developed new art for
these large decorative markets. A further development in our version of this chemistry has created structural
adhesives, which is an area not successfully captured in the past.
UV Curing Lamps
Rugged and affordable, CTECH lamps use the industry standard bulbs in
flood, wand and conveyor configurations.
